Start here
Everything you need to know before lesson 1. It takes a minute to read.
You need nothing but sound
No account, no app, no Korean keyboard. Turn your sound on or use headphones: Korean has sounds English spelling cannot show, so every example has audio at normal and slow speed.
Lessons are short and in order
Each lesson takes 3 to 7 minutes and adds one idea to what came before. The first eight teach you to read the alphabet, Hangul. After that you build sentences. Do them in order.
Roman letters fade out
At first you will see Roman letters under the Korean. They follow South Korea's official Revised Romanization. They are a temporary support and they mislead if you rely on them, so they switch off by themselves once you can read. You can change this in Settings.
Wrong answers are part of it
When you miss a question you get the reason, another try, and the same question once more at the end of the lesson. Nothing is timed.

What you learn today appears in Review tomorrow. Five minutes a day does more than an hour once a week.
